10 Step Programme Graduation

15/12/2015 Filed under Training

December saw the successful completion and graduation of all delegates from our third 10 Step Programme for Line Managers. The group, ranging from those new to management duties to experienced managers and team leaders, and a couple yet to take the jump up to a leadership role, had their first session back in September and, over the following 10 weeks, studied various facets of Line Management.

One of the delegates on our latest course had this to say:

“I came to the first 10 Steps meeting a little unsure of what to expect and sceptical as to how useful I would find the course, having enrolled on previous junior management courses in the past. Over the next ten weeks I became much more aware of my own personal level of management skills and abilities, where my potential weaknesses lay and more exciting was the realisation of how I could help initiate and implement new strategies and action change within my management remit. This course has culminated in me being confident to address some quite major changes to my own role, empowering me to be a better manager for my team and ultimately the company.

Tracy delivered this course in a relaxed and informative style, engaging with her trainees and always allowing for the opportunity to discuss relevant course matters from a personal professional perspective. The weekly presentation have been informative, accurate and concise, touching on all the major aspects of management, providing me with a strong foundation for any challenges that come my way in the future.

Many thanks Tracy and team summ.it!”

Our programme covers areas such as Communication, Appraisals, Disciplinary & Grievance, Absence Management, Recruitment & Selection, and much more whilst offering best practice and employment law advice and systems of working to take back to your organisations. We study you and your team to identify how the programme can directly influence positive change within your organisation and offer you the knowledge and support to see it through effectively.

The programme finishes with a presentation and graduation day where we ask you to deliver a short presentation on an area covered within the course and the positive contributions you could make to your organisation.

Our next programme will be starting in the New Year with a limited amount of places still available. Contact Christine.Wood@summ.it to book your place.
