The last Friday in February was our quarterly team afternoon at Every 3 months the teams get together at our offices in Manchester to review performance, discuss upcoming company activity and have a catch up with each other. Once the afternoon’s meeting is done we head into Manchester for some social time, a few drinks and to grab something to eat. This quarter we headed off to The Dockyard in Spinningfields before making our way down to Turtle Bay for some Jamaican food and 2-for-1 cocktails.

As expected, the conversation centred heavily around the upcoming Mighty Deerstalker challenge. There’s only a week of preparation left and the nerves are really starting to set in. What seemed like a fun, team building challenge when the email went round a few months ago is quickly becoming quite a daunting reality. There is some satisfaction being taken in that it is all for a really good cause and donations for our fundraising are coming in; thank you to everyone who has donated so far!

We’d really love to make this challenge as worthwhile as possible and every little helps. Please visit our fundraising page for our chosen charity, Wipe Your Tears, and show the team your support and read the story of Kai, the little boy you’ll be helping here.

The end of February also brought the great news of another new Mauritius arrival.Riyaad’s wife gave birth to their son, Yunus, on 25th February. Both mother and baby are doing very well and Riyaad is enjoying his hectic new role as a father. We’d like to send our congratulations and best wishes to Riyaad and his new family.
