High Performing Managers for High Performing Teams – 10 Step Programme for First Line Managers

summ.it’s 10 Step Programme for First Line Managers was first launched four years ago. Since then, our unique, in-house designed and most popular management training programme has helped more than 100 delegates, from Supervisors to Department Heads, in managing their team more effectively, knowledgeably and with ever increasing confidence.

 

The Programme has been designed to give you a tour of the various facets of line management over 10 weeks. Whilst various management training is available elsewhere, our programme has been uniquely designed to support any First Line Manager, in any industry, as they all have one thing in common; managing people. In our experience, many managers are given the relevant job title and salary, but many don’t have the fundamental skills on managing people.

 

The 10 Step Programme, like any other training programme, comes with some work; no lengthy essays or assignments, but exercises that have been developed to relate directly to your working environment. Combined with the opportunity to work alongside managers from other companies, you will soon realise you are not on your own with the issues you face as a manager.

 

Due to the success of the course and valuable feedback from its attendees, summ.it are pleased to announce that we have revamped our 10 Step Programme for First Line Managers and the first course will be held in January 2017. The new format consists of additional presentation skills to support employees with their confidence and, more importantly there is now a big focus on implementing these new skills back into the workplace.

Step 9 Overview of Disciplinary and Grievance 15th March 2017
Step 10 Putting it into Practice and Graduation 22nd March 2017

This programme will be held at our unique training suite in Rochdale with each day running from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Lunch and refreshments included.
