Statutory Payments April 2015

Statutory Payments such as statutory sick pay and family friendly payments have been reviewed and uplifted as detailed in the table below from April 2015.

 

 

Statutory Payments (subject to eligibility criteria) – From 6th April 2015
Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) 6 weeks at 90% of average earnings followed by 33 weeks paid at £139.58 per week.
Statutory Adoption Pay (SAP) 6 weeks at 90% of average earnings followed by 33 weeks paid at £139.58 per week.
Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP) £139.58 per week for a maximum entitlement of 2 weeks (except where additional paternity leave is taken)
Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) £88.45 per week for a maximum entitlement of 28 weeks.
Statutory Redundancy Pay (SRP) Capped at £475 per week for a maximum of 30 weeks.
National Minimum Wage – 1st October 2014 (Reviewed every October)
£6.50 per hour Main Rate – Workers Aged 21 and over.
£5.13 per hour Development Rate – Workers Aged 18-20.
£3.79 per hour Young Workers Rate – Workers over school leaving age but under the age of 18.
£2.73 per hour Apprentice Rate – Apprentices under 19 or aged 19 or over but in the first year of their apprenticeship.
Statutory Minimum Holiday Entitlement
5.6 weeks Per full holiday year.  Can include bank holidays.
